Mandarin Chinese Classes

The next Fall semester will start Monday August 29^th, and will end December 16^th, 2016. Registration is open for Mandarin IA & IB. A Mandarin II class will start in the Fall of 2016.

Book suggested for Chinese I: Integrated Chinese by Yuehua Liu.

Get ready for an exciting experience learning Mandarin Chinese at Language City. You will learn more than you can imagine, in an easy and fun way, with plenty of extra material to study in between lessons, and access to documents introducing you to Chinese culture.

Cost is $255/semester. Recorded webinars only can be purchased for $195/semester. AP classes are $350/semester.

Orientation for the Spring semester of 2016: Thursday January 21st at 2 pm P.S.T or Friday January 22nd at 12 pm P.S.T. Call or email us to book your spot as spaces are limited. Attending one of the orientation sessions is a good way of making sure you can access the virtual classroom. You can always click here and enter a test room.

There is a second class offered to students already taking a class, to supplement what they learn through texts, exercises and oral practice. For instance, a student taking Mandarin IA can take the optional class offered on Thursdays at 9 am PST.

Class capacity: minimum of 8 students for classes to start. Maximum: 16 students.
